SQL Development Lead

Job Description:
Line manage a team of developers working on SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS.
Estimating effort, tracking and managing work.
Understanding requirements from the UK dev leads and proposing solutions for the same.
Mentor and guide the team
Should have Strong Database development skills: SQL Server 2005/2008.
Extensive knowledge of compiling and investigating SQL statements and procedure
Experience developing web based data entry applications.
Experience in producing complex reporting solutions that utilise statistical functions.
Administrative knowledge of SQL Server.
Experience working as part of a development team.
Experience working with and manipulating large datasets.
Should have experience working in SQL Server 2008 R2.
Hands on exposure in SQL Reporting Services 2005/2008/2008R2 and MDX.
Exposure in Microsoft Analysis Services 2005/2008/2008R2.
Experience in SQL Server Integration Services 2005/2008/2008R2.
Programming experience with .NET 2.0/3.5/4.0
Preferred Skills:
• Should be a Computer Science graduate with 6 to 8 years of experience in Microsoft Technology.
Other competencies desired are Willingness to work under pressure to achieve timely deliverables whilst maintaining quality. Demonstrate the ability to prioritise efforts in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
